1. What the guarantee covers
For qualifying residential installations completed by ClearCrest Windows Ltd, we guarantee our installation workmanship for 10 years from the recorded completion date. If a defect arises during that period and is shown to result from our installation workmanship, we will inspect the issue and, where covered, repair or remedy it within a reasonable time.
2. Product and manufacturer warranties
Frames, sealed units, hardware, finishes and other manufactured components may carry their own supplier or manufacturer warranty periods and conditions. Those warranties are separate from this workmanship guarantee and will be identified in the project documentation where applicable.
3. What is not covered
The workmanship guarantee does not cover ordinary wear and tear, accidental or malicious damage, misuse, failure to carry out reasonable maintenance, condensation caused by heating or ventilation conditions, building movement or subsidence, defects in the surrounding building fabric, damage caused by water ingress from sources outside our installed work, or alterations and repairs carried out by third parties.
4. Making a claim
Contact us at [email protected] or 020 8064 2621 with the installation address, completion date where known, photographs and a description of the issue. We may need reasonable access to inspect the installation before deciding the appropriate remedy.
5. Building Regulations and third-party schemes
The applicable compliance route is confirmed for each project. Any competent-person certificate, local-authority approval, insurance-backed guarantee or other third-party protection is only included where it is expressly stated in the customer’s contract or handover documents.
6. Your statutory rights
This guarantee is additional to the customer’s statutory rights and does not exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The signed quotation or contract for a project may contain additional product-specific terms, exclusions or longer manufacturer warranty periods. Where there is a conflict, the customer’s signed project contract and applicable law take priority.
